Restoring the natural beauty of the Garden of Remembrance
The Garden of Remembrance is an area of unspoilt natural beauty and every effort has been made to create a tranquil atmosphere in order to remember a loved one.
Ashes are scattered loosely below the surface in an unmarked area.
As the Garden of Remembrance is an unmarked area, we do not allow the placing of vases and other receptacles in this area. In an attempt to restore the natural beauty of the Garden of Remembrance, from week commencing
25th June 2018 we will begin the process of removing such items and other personal effects from the Gardens. We also politely request that any flowers that are left are removed from any packaging before being placed loosely on the grass.
We hope you agree that these small changes will contribute in a positive way to the ambience of the Gardens and will assist in returning to a more natural beauty.
As a polite reminder, well behaved dogs are welcome in our gardens but must remain on a lead at all times.
